This Agreement governs the laundry and shoe-cleaning services provided by Fresh Folds (the “Company”) to you (the “Customer”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth herein.

1. Order Placement

  • You can schedule a pick-up and delivery through our website (https://freshfolds.in) or visit our store during business hours.

2. Self Drop-Off Orders

  • Upon drop-off, you will receive a receipt detailing the item count and description.
  • Garments will be delivered to the bearer of the receipt, who will be considered the rightful owner.
  • Lost receipts require a written report and may require ID verification and signature upon order collection.
  • Orders are deemed accepted upon delivery from our premises. Claims will not be entertained after this point.

3. Home Pick-Up and Delivery

  • We will strive to honor scheduled pick-up and delivery times. However, we are not liable for delays due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, traffic, etc.).
  • We will keep you informed of any delays via email, text message, or phone call. Our policy is to deliver on the following business day if a scheduled delivery cannot be met.
  • Secure pick-up and delivery are our priority. We reserve the right to refuse service if secure delivery or pick-up is not possible.
  • Customers must inform us promptly if they become aware of any circumstances preventing pick-up or delivery at their address.
  • We will attempt to reschedule missed pick-ups or deliveries, subject to availability. A missed pick-up or delivery fee of Rs. 50/- may apply after two unsuccessful attempts.
  • To ensure efficient service, please notify us of any changes to pick-up or delivery timings at least two (2) hours in advance.
  • We reserve the right to terminate service for repeated missed appointments or access issues.
  • We may refuse or cancel orders if there is a risk of staff safety or a history of non-response or access difficulties.
  • Pick-up or delivery above the third floor without elevator access may be refused. We will work with customers in such situations to find alternative solutions.

4. Service Descriptions

  • Wash and Fold: This is our most convenient laundry service. We’ll thoroughly wash your clothes, then gently dry and neatly fold them for easy putting away. Perfect for everyday wear, t-shirts, and casual wear.
  • Wash and Steam Press: This service combines the benefits of both worlds! We’ll thoroughly clean your clothes, followed by professional steam pressing for a wrinkle-free, polished finish. Ideal for business attire, formal wear, and anything that needs that extra touch.
  • Steam Press: Looking for a crisp, professional finish? Our steam press service uses controlled heat and steam to remove wrinkles and create a sharp look for your dress shirts, pants, and delicate garments.
  • Shoe Cleaning: Don’t let dirty shoes drag you down. Our shoe cleaning service removes dirt, grime, and stains to bring your shoes back to life. We handle a variety of shoe materials, so you can be confident your footwear will be in good hands.

5. Customer Responsibility

  • To ensure the best possible results, please double-check care labels before including garments in any of our services (Wash & Fold, Wash & Steam Press, Steam Press). We cannot be held responsible for damage to items not suitable for the chosen service.
  • Wash and Fold, and Wash and Steam Press: These services are designed for everyday laundry. Please avoid including:
  • Steam Press: Ideal for removing wrinkles from delicate garments. However, similar to Wash & Fold/Wash & Steam Press, avoid including dry-clean only items.
  • Shoe Cleaning: We handle various shoe materials, but please check for any manufacturer’s cleaning instructions before including them.

6. General Exclusions

  • We take reasonable care to inspect and label garments. We are not liable for damage to garments unsuitable for tagging or labeling.
  • We strive to maintain a high-quality service but accept no liability for damage due to normal cleaning of unlabeled garments or those treated following provided care instructions. We reserve the right to refuse to clean any garment.
  • We are not liable for discoloration, shrinkage, natural wear and tear, or other changes resulting from normal washing procedures. We reserve the right to refuse to clean any garment.
  • We will not accept claims for deliberately torn or damaged garments.
  • While we have expertise in cleaning garments with embellishments, we cannot accept responsibility for damage to beads, sequins, buttons, etc., due to their inherent cleaning challenges.
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal items left in clothing (money, jewelry, etc.). Please check pockets before laundry service. We will return any found objects, but we do not guarantee success and are not liable for damage to clothing or the object during our process.
  • Unclaimed garments will be donated after thirty (30) calendar days from the pick-up date. We hold no liability for unclaimed garments after this period.
  • By accepting our terms and putting your laundry into our bags and entrusting us with your clothes, you take ownership and responsibility of those items.
  • Any disputes involving another parties items being cleaned using our services will be the responsibility of the customer, because you have accepted the ownership of those specified articles. We hold no responsibility for any consequences that arise there after.
  • We are not liable for health issues, allergies, or disorders caused by our cleaning process or products.
  • If you have allergies or health concerns, please inform us. However, we cannot guarantee complete separation from potential allergens due to previous washes in our machines.
  • We are not responsible for reactions to pre-existing allergens, even if disclosed.
  • We bear no responsibility for damage caused by moths, insects, fire, flood, natural disasters, civil unrest, or events beyond our control.

7. Compensation & Claims Policy

  • We are fully responsible for your garments from the time we issue a receipt or pick them up from you.
  • Customers are responsible for counting and checking all items before leaving our store or upon delivery.
  • In the unlikely event of damage to a garment, please inform us within 24 hours of receiving it. You may be required to return the damaged garment for inspection. We will investigate the case and contact you within 48 hours.
  • Claims for missing garments must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. We cannot accept responsibility for damaged or missing items reported after this timeframe.
  • We are not liable for any loss of garments after delivery to a designated recipient (watchman, security personnel, driver, etc.) authorized by you.
  • In no event will we be liable for any consequential, special, indirect, incidental, or punitive loss or damage, regardless of whether we were aware of the possibility of such loss or damage.
  • We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, with respect to the services we provide.
  • Due to the absence of a formal system or authorized body in India to investigate garment damage or loss, we will arrange for an independent analysis by our staff to make an unbiased decision based on the report.
  • Please note that all claims can only be resolved through mutual discussion.

8. False Claims

  • Customers are responsible for honesty. We will not be held liable for false claims and reserve the right to seek compensation for any intentional reputational harm.
  • You are responsible for notifying us and returning any garment mistakenly delivered to you. Failure to do so may result in compensation claims against you.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time and refuse service to anyone for any reason. All disputes are subject to jurisdiction of courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. For any complaint / query please contact us at [email protected].
